Work, rest, host and store
4 Living reads a room as four connected areas. Each zone has a clear job, a suggested spacing band and a small set of accent pieces sized to fit. Together they keep a small home calm and usable.

Work zone
A compact corner for focused tasks. The board suggests a slim oak desk, one supportive chair and a narrow shelf so a small room can hold a calm work spot without crowding the rest of the home.
Suggested clearance: Suggested chair pull-out band of roughly 70 to 90 cm behind the desk.

Rest zone
A gentle reading and unwind corner. The layout favours a soft armchair, a round side table and a warm lamp, arranged so the rest zone feels separate from the busier areas of the room.
Suggested clearance: Suggested walk-through band of roughly 60 to 75 cm beside the armchair.

Host zone
A small gathering spot for tea, meals and conversation. The board places a round table with light chairs and an optional bench, sized so two to four people can sit without blocking the path.
Suggested clearance: Suggested seating band of roughly 90 to 110 cm around the table edge.

Store zone
A bright storage wall that keeps everyday things in view and in order. The layout suggests open oak cubes and baskets so the store zone stays airy rather than heavy and closed.
Suggested clearance: Suggested access band of roughly 75 to 90 cm in front of the shelving.
